What is Financial Peace University?
Financial Peace University is a life-changing program that teaches you how to make the right decisions with your money. You'll be empowered with the practical skills and confidence needed to achieve your financial goals and experience true financial peace!
How does it work?
Powerful. Enlightening. Fun.
In FPU, you will meet with your class each week to watch a video lesson and participate in discussion groups that will change how you think about money. Dave explains how money really works in a simple, easy-to-understand style. You'll actually have fun as you learn!
Beat Debt. Build Wealth.
The goal of Financial Peace University is not just information - we're looking for transformation! Financial management is only 20% knowledge and 80% behavior. We help break the bad habits that rob people of true financial success.
What Will I Learn?
Change the Way You Think
Each of the 13 Lessons deals with a different topic that will change the way you think about personal finance. Dave teaches about how to save money, live on a budget, communicate about money, eliminate debt, find bargains, and experience the joy of giving.
Dave Explains:
- Investments
- Insurance
- Retirement
- Real Estate
- College Planning
- Careers
- Debt Collectors
- Credit Reports
- and More!
How often do the classes meet?
Classes are held once per week for 13 consecutive weeks.
How long is each class session?
Each class session lasts approximately two hours.
- Hour 1: Financial teaching by Dave Ramsey via video.
- Hour 2: Small groups. The small group discussions will help you apply the principles to your daily life. You and your group members will support each other and hold each other accountable as you work together to transform your financial future. The small group discussions are crucial because when it comes to personal finances, it's only 20% head knowledge and 80% behavior!
How much does this program cost?
There is a one time cost of $110.00 for the Membership Kit, which contains essential tools to guide you through the class. FPU Members receive a lifetime membership that will allow you to attend a class anywhere, anytime at no extra charge. |
